In Autumn 1985, Allen Hogan was introduced to the art of cider making using locally harvested cider apples. Opening the barrel for the first taste in early Spring was an eagerly anticipated magical experience. The cider apple was transformed into a delicious and moreish drink. Year after year the tradition continued, perfecting the process until 2005 when Alan plucked up the courage to take his cider to Stratford Farmers market.
Things have moved on from those early days. The industry has evolved, ciders have been perfected and they’re excited about introducing some delicious new varieties and styles to their range — still made properly of course.
